Job DescriptionJob Description:Our CNC Programmers work from drawings and/or customer-provided models. Using their knowledge of machine operations, they prepare CNC programs, select the types of tools and determine the sequence of operations. Programmers insure the quality of the manufactured product by working closely with all functional groups to develop, create and maintain process plans, tooling, and related documentation for machinery used throughout theMust have a thorough understanding of GD&T.Must be able to program using MASTERCAM and willing to learn \"ESPRIT\".Must have the ability to design, program and machine work holding fixtures from product drawings and/or customer-provided models to develop manufacturing processes.Must have the ability to program product related CNC programs and prove out programs by running on CNC machines.Develop all required documentation to support process.Support programming and manufacturing cost estimates.Providing engineering support by troubleshooting problems and determining effective timely solutions.Continuously improve manufacturing and operations processes to insure product quality and efficiency.*Troubleshoots complex machining job problems without direction.*Perform in-process inspection of own work while running machine.*Provide on-the-job training to other employees in department.Works safely, and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.*Keeps Supervisor informed of job, machine, and equipment related problems as well as any other information related to work activity.*Conform to the company quality system as documented.
