Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of the facility’s equipment and instruments
  • Monitors equipment, such as, checking temperatures, pressures, levels, valve positions, and looking for leaks
  • Coordinate with machine operators to ensure efficient process performance without any back up
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians if repairs are needed
  • Monitor all quality disputes and resolve all issues and escalate it if required
  • Maintain records of all-important documents, equipment’s and log books
  • Comply with all requirements of internal documents relating to safety, health and environmental protection
  • Aim for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction of the company in all operations under its responsibility
  • Role Summary/Purpose

    Process Operator oversees and manage the production process by monitoring the equipment to ensure the quality, efficiency and safety of the plant. Position report directly to department supervisor. Position interacts daily with numerous levels of management; contract administrators, supervisors, product line managers, engineering, maintenance and other plant personnel to achieve daily task.

    Qualifications/Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production environment
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations as they relate to machine operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Computer skills ( MS Office, email, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals
  • Proven manual tools experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Saturday and/or Sunday work may be required
