The Supply Chain Delivery Assurance (DA) Manager will be based remote (preferred CT locations) and will have Supply Chain responsibility for Triumph Integrated Systems (TIS) Supplier Delivery Assurance actions to improve supplier performance. DA execution is key to improving TGIs supply chain and achieving Supply Chain cost, quality and delivery objectives.The DA manager will take direction from the SD & DA Director to action supplier improvement plans while engaging 3rd party DA specialists, supplier development and the entire TGI supply chain network of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, measures, analyses, improves and controls under-performingsupplier delivery performance in the businesses by engaging with all the main stakeholders and leading with lean six sigma approach.
  • Sustainable improvement of the supplier delivery performance to meet business objectives.
  • Regular cadence of review and reporting with identified Suppliers and Stakeholders.
  • Manage Business Unit, Operating Company, and site information through the documentation, maintenance and reporting of an active file of under-performingsuppliers, DA actions and engaging/assigning action utilizing the supply chain team and 3rd Party DA statement of work.
  • Develop and maintain 3rd Party DA statement of work relationship, actions and reporting.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and agility in working within a matrix and cross-functional environment to reactively address delivery and other critical supply issues; ability to understand and work within diverse cultural landscape and all organizational levels to seek opportunities for improvement and leverage the entire enterprise/resources for problem resolution when and where required.
  • Acts with customers in mind; promotes customer focused business practices; takes time to establish personal contact with key internal customers at all levels of management and ensure organizational and business needs are being met; constantly looking for \"voice of the customer\" with respect to continuous improvement opportunities.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related technical degree is required. Masters Degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management or Operations experience is required. Experience must include Supply Chain Management / Operations experience within the aerospace industry - preferably with a high-level / tier one integrator or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  • Direct expertise with direct materials for aerospace manufacturing. Experience with site procurement, expediting, supplier development and tactical supply chain. Global sourcing, work transfer and commodity management is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the Supply Chain function at for procurement. Managing New Product Introduction (NPI) and strategic supply chain is preferred.
  • Demonstrable operational financial acumen regarding cash flow, margin, working capital, inventory turns, and net present value is required. Experience managing the strategic analysis to determine make / buy decisions is preferred.
  • Demonstrate initiative and advanced interpersonal skills in team problem solving situations, relationship building and aligning with business goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Domestic and International travel 25%, as needed.
