Statement of Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid, the Assistant Director assists in upholding the highest levels of customer service to all Trinity students as it relates to institutional aid processes, timelines, and communication. The Assistant Director is a key member of the enrollment team, utilizing broad knowledge of policy and practices in admissions and financial assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Remain abreast of all relevant government regulations and compliancy guidelines related to financial assistance.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and retention of all students by providing clear and detailed information about the cost of tuition and related educational expenses, the application process, and understanding the student's financial goals.
  • Perform needs analysis, federal verification, and counsel a designated population of students on eligibility guidelines for financial aid, application procedures, and appeals.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and execute additional operational responsibilities for the Financial Aid Office as assigned by office leadership.
  • Attention to detail while analyzing complex data.
  • Preparing weekly reports relating to tasks assigned by the Director or Senior Associate Director of Financial Assistance.
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required with 3 to 5 years of financial aid and/or admissions experience.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
  • Effective communication and writing skills. * Experience with Microsoft Office products and the ability to use enrollment systems software.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals in multiple roles.
