Summary:
A small, busy, family orientated firm is looking for a structural engineer candidate that is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from proposal phase to construction administration.

Responsibilities:

Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates

Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections

Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering

5-6 years of structural design experience

PE License preferred

MUST have a background in commercial and residential design with steel, concrete, and wood.

Hands on start to finish project experience

Experience leading/manager projects and mentoring younger staff

Experience using Autocad and Risa3D softwares - Revit highly desired!

Proficient in standard office computer applications: Word, Excel, Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
