**2149BR** **Title:** Research Engineer-Precision Mechanical and Electrical Assemblies **Job Description:** SRI International has an immediate opening for a **Research Engineer** at our Princeton, NJ location working on a variety of technical topics spanning advanced electronic, optical/photonic and quantum sensing programs. The campus is minutes from downtown Princeton and our location in Central NJ means New York, Philadelphia, the beach, the mountains and more are just a car or train ride away! The position will be part of a close-knit team working on leading-edge projects for our government and commercial customers. The candidate will be involved in areas spanning from wafer-level fabrication processes, machining and fabrication of very small components and subsystems, as well as the assembly and characterization of complex experimental set-ups and prototype systems. Example project tasks can involve items such as precision dicing and machining, precision wafer bonding, novel electronic and optical materials applications, detailed assembly under microscopes, as well as lab-bench precision optical and quantum sensing prototypes.
