Qualcomm CR&D is looking for an experienced DFT Engineer to work on its current and next generation machine learning SoCs at its Santa Clara or San Diego locations. The candidate will be responsible for scan insertion, ATPG pattern generation and verification, top level pattern retargeting and pattern bringup on the tester for the main AI engine on Qualcomms Machine Learning SoCs. Work also involves interfacing with the SoC DFT team and ensuring a proper handoff. The candidate will also work on MBIST insertion and verification for the AI Engine. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in scan insertion and ATPG pattern generation and verification
  • Experience in MBIST insertion and verification flows
  • Familiarity with Mentor Tessent flows for ATPG and MBIST
  • Experience in running RTL and gate level simulations and debug
  • Willingness to work with multi-site teams
  • Experience in Tessent pattern retargeting flows
  • Good understanding of JTAG
  • Experience in pattern debug on the tester
  • Experience in Logic BIST insertion and verification
  • Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
    Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering Keywords
