Overview We are looking for bright asic engineer with excellent analytical and technical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast paced team responsible for delivering Snapdragon CPU design, flows for high performance SoCs in sub-10nm process for mobile space. Responsibilities: Work with cross-functional teams on CPU Power - Participate on a project involved in the development of Asics, with emphasis in power analysis. Responsible of Power vector plan and definition - Simulate power vector and run power analysis on RTL and Netlist Work closely with RTL design, DV, physical design, low power and automation teams to measure and optimize power Evaluate and propose new power optimization techniques - Tabulate metrics results for analysis comparison Work with Post-Silicon team to correlate pre and post-silicon power measurement All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Power analysis and reduction using Primetime PX, PowerArtist is required
  • Experience with low power implementation techniques
  • Dynamic clock and voltage scaling Power analysis (Leakage and dynamic)
  • Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog coding, verification techniques, and scripting language, such as: Perl, Python, Tcl, and Make etc
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Low power intent concepts and languages (UPF or CPF)
  • Post-Silicon power measurement
  • Experience with CPU micro-architecture and their power challenges
  • Experience in Thermal analysis
  • Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
    Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience Keywords
