The Architecture and Landscape Architecture Library seeks a customer service-oriented individual to assist library users at our service desk. Responsibilities include circulating library materials, helping users locate library materials and resources, answering basic reference and general research questions at the service desk, providing basic assistance with technology and computing, opening and/or closing the library, and assisting in maintaining the Library s collections and spaces. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to service, diversity, equity, respect, and inclusion are required. Experience in a public service setting and fluency with computers and computing applications preferred. An ability to learn rapidly and to follow directions is required. Typical work schedule is 10-12 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to work a combination of evening, weekend, and day hours and be available for the entire academic year.
