Your role is to build the next generation of Search capabilities that will help customers Client their perfect next listen. Search is a fundamental part of our content discovery experience. As a Product Manager on Search, you will improve the relevance of search results and help connect our customers with content seamlessly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the team, to define and set the product roadmap, setting expectations with all relevant stakeholders.

Write business requirements and functional specification documents for end-to-end Search experiences.

Create plans that have clear, measurable success criteria.

Interface with the data science & development teams to drive the creation and execution of the product roadmap

Set a high bar for success, never accept the status quo, look for every opportunity you can find to innovate on behalf of our members.

Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility

Basic Qualifications

Experience building cutting edge query understanding and ranking algorithms for search results

Experience in content discovery experiences powered by machine learning

8+ years of Product Management experience

Educational background in engineering or a quantitative field

Passion for Discovery, Media and Culture.

Great communication skills - ability to think creatively and adapt the message to the audience. Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong writing skills. we have a strong writing culture: PowerPoint use is rare.

Data-informed: Define metrics for success and failure; ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to back up assumptions and make decisions.

Team player: Strong, demonstrated ability to rally and bring varying functional teams together.
