The Civil/Structural Engineering Associate - Tunnel Inspection will join the Bridge Inspection team performing inspections of bridges, tunnels, retaining

walls, noise walls, culverts, and/or sign structures. You will prepare

inspection reports that document the condition of the structures you inspect.

The best part of being a Tunnel Inspector in

Michael Baker s Cambridge, MA office is that no two days will be the

same. You will face different challenges every day, some of which will be

extraordinarily complex.
Most days will be spent in the field

supporting a team leader inspecting of tunnels, bridges, culverts, noise walls,

retaining walls, sign structures, etc.
Other days will be spent in the office

preparing inspection reports.
You will feel a sense of pride in knowing that

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural

Engineering and 1-4 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrate a personal commitment to accuracy

and quality.
Ability to build relationships with staff and

Excellent English language skills, written and

verbal, are essential to long term success in this role.
Quickly get up to speed on our policy,

procedures and relevant software while acquiring an understanding of the

company s service offerings and standards relevant to your projects.
Microsoft Office suite.
