Your Role:

The responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to: Develop new products and applications aligned with current business strategy to address needs of researchers within protein and nucleic acid workflow across a wide range of industries; Support adoption of new products in the marketplace by generating applications data & working closely with customers and commercial organization; Leverage specialized knowledge and analytical skills to solve complex problems; Engage with engineering, marketing personnel and other scientists, as well as with external collaborators and customers; Participate in strategic planning to identify new areas for future development in life science; Plan experiments and write protocols; Present technical seminars at conferences, workshops, customer sites and webinars; Provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams supporting the product development process.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, or a closely related bioscience field required.

3+ years of experience at the post-doctoral and/or industrial lab working with proteins or nucleic acids.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience across a range of life science applications skills in the areas of protein chemistry, molecular biology and cell biology desirable.

Experience defining customer needs and developing new products a plus.

Previous experience mentoring or supervising other laboratory scientists desirable.

Experience with electrophoresis, western blot, protein expression and purification, nucleic acid workflow, PCR. RSREMD
