TECHNOLOGY LICENSING OFFICER, BIOTECHNOLOGY, Technology Licensing Office (TLO), to work with MIT's brightest scientists and engineers on advancing the development of groundbreaking technologies by fostering strategic relationships with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry partners. Responsibilities include assessing the commercial potential of new technologies, managing a broad intellectual property portfolio, developing and implementing strategies for the marketing and licensing of technologies to commercialization partners, and negotiating license and collaborative research agreements.
This position embodies a unique overlap of technology, business, and law and offers the opportunity to represent MIT in the Boston/Cambridge biotech entrepreneurial ecosystem in the heart of Kendall Square.
