Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a Firmware Engineer Sr in Owego, NY. The engineer will work in a cutting edge environment with relevant and game changing technologies. This exciting work will include architecting and designing computer hardware for advanced processing solutions. Specifically the candidate will be a lead firmware designer who will research, develop, and release design data for avionics platforms. This engineer will work with the rest of the development team to deliver the source data and perform initial integration and test of the prototype circuit board. The engineer will apply advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts. The engineer will contribute to the development of new principles and theories. The engineer will work on unusually complex technical problems and provides solution which are highly innovative and ingenious. Assignments are often self-initiated. The engineer will determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.The engineer will research, design, develop, and test on a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
