We are working with leading OEMs and partners on next generation mobile devices, smartphones, tablets, wearable and computing devices. The candidate will be a member of Applications Engineering team and would work on DSPs, sensors, low power subsystems, and various BSP technologies . The engineer will work on platforms that include application processors (Android, Windows) and DSPs. It exposes the candidate to the cutting edge technology, key players in the wireless industry worldwide working on leading edge ultra-low-power devices. Applications engineers support customers with understanding, integrating, customization, building, and bring-up of our software, enabling debugging features along with providing training to customer. We offer a wide range of tools, design and deployment services to support the device development process and develop new technologies based on the needs and demands of the wireless market. This is a very challenging position that requires the candidate to continually interface with our chipset customers and work closely with multiple internal teams. Job responsibilities includes the following: - Triage and root cause analysis of reported issues - Working closely with various teams to design, develop and mainline the fix - Perform testing to verify the resolution - Prepare documents and train customers on new technologies
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Experience with C, C++ programming Experience with embedded systems debugging and real time operating systems Experience with sensors drivers and HALs (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer etc) Experience with some of serial bus interfaces such as I3C, I2C, SPI, UART Experience with oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, logic analyzer etc. Knowledge of a revision control software (Git/Gerrit/Perforce experience) Exposure to large scale software build, integration and test environments 4-5 years of industry or related work experience
