Description This position is for aMicrosoft Project Server local administrator supporting the IT Services Task Order on the IRES program located at Schriever AFB, Colorado. Candidate will be responsible for configuration and maintenance of Project Servers. You will provide support for multiple instances of Project Server, in multiple environments as well as provide assistance to Project Server global administrators and Program Control for portfolio and reporting development. You will provide assistance to Developers and manage Project Server workflows. The candidate will be responsible for a complex high-demand multi-tenant Project Server applications. The candidate will troubleshoot and resolves Project Server issues. The candidate will proactively monitor project server queue logs. The candidate will provide application-level support and administration to include managing local security permissions. The candidate will provide administrative services to the master scheduler and resource manager. The candidate will provide recommendations and best practices to the Project Server community.#cjpost
Basic Requirements: High School Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience or an Associate's degree with 10 years of general experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of general experience; must include6 years of directly related experience and 3 years in management or leadership roles. Also requires1 year experience in system administration and applications support for SharePoint and Microsoft Project App. Must have3 years experience with the Microsoft Office and Project Professional client. Must have experience with Project Web Access and connected project sites. You will be required to provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline which have a requirement to meet technical requirements. Essential qualifications include: Project management background, the ability to quickly adapt to new situations,strong commitment to a team environment,willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to deconflict requests/requirements, able to establish, maintain and follow documented processes and procedures. Candidate must possess a current Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Also5 years experience with the Microsoft Office and Project Professional client is desired.Previous scheduler, PM or PMO experience is desired.Strong technical writer and experience with Visio is desired.
