Lead, manage, and direct the operation and maintenance of managed buildings, infrastructure, and facilities in an assigned region. Manage, direct, and/or coordinate CAPEX planning and projects, renovations, and property upgrades as required in an assigned region. Support the engineering disciplines on all acquisitions, takeovers, and developments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee, manage, and implement policies, standards, and procedures for maintenance and facility operations

Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training engineering management and staff as necessary to support existing operations and growth objectives

Contribute to the development and evolution of White Lodgings Facilities Management Department

SKILLS

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a customer service oriented business
  • Proficient in the use of computers, including: word processing software, spreadsheets, email systems, property management systems, and project management systems
  • Must be able to read and interpret financial statements, accounting reports, and budgets
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and project documents
  • Operations Management Ability to implement programs, policies, standards, and procedures that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations
  • Communication Communicates timely, clearly, and effectively at all levels of the organization

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, or Business, or extensive practical work experience in facilities management
  • At least 10 years of experience in multi-unit Hospitality Facilities Management
  • Experience in leading facilities, construction, and renovation projects
  • Familiarity with union labor issues
