This data can come from drones, sensors, soil samples, telematics on farm machinery, growers & agronomists, and many other sources. This role will focus on managing the list of attributes we support and how those are created across field sources.Responsibilities:+ Establish a method for cataloging the full list of field attributes supported and establish a roadmap for future needs to support internal and external use cases+ Form partnerships with all data users to capture the voice of the customer and understand how their needs can best be served by field data & determine when their needs require new fields+ Create visually compelling slides in PowerPoint to communicate how field data is evolving and key strategies for our team+ Participate in developing innovative new products and businesses from field data\\+ Serve as a working committee member for the Field Data Solutions steering committee, bringing recommendations and findings for approvalCompetencies:+ Very highly organized+ Able to manage a complex universe of field data attributes+ Able to balance needs across many parts of the organization for field data+ Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word+ Outstanding communication skills+ Respond promptly and clearly via email+ Conduct phone interviews+ Deliver presentations, with and without Powerpoint+ Seeks first to understand, then to be understood+ Ability to structure thoughts and concepts into visually appealing slides+ Someone who thrives on providing structure to complexity+ Highly adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the organization+ Willingness to travel frequently to the field to learn about, deploy, and maintain technologies+ Competes necessary tasks, even menial ones, with joyQualifications:+ 3-5+ years work experience, ideally working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment+ Undergrad degree in business, math, engineering, science, or related field preferred; or relevant work experience to demonstrate similar analysis skills
