The successful candidate is efficient in the following:
+ Develop, debug, and maintain test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
+ LabVIEW Associate Developer or higher a plus
+ Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio performance.
+ Experience in test station design and troubleshoot
+ Performs IT troubleshooting as related to test station upgrades and operation.
+ Performs engineering RF/analog/digital design and troubleshoot
+ Run tests, scrub data, spot check problem areas, and create scorecards for review
+ Adept in Microsoft Office applications
+ Responsible for supporting existing military communication products and system designs in manufacturing and pre-release to manufacturing
+ Work with obsolescence team to mitigate obsolete devices through redesign of Radio sub-assemblies
+ Support calibration recall efforts within PSE lab.
+ Ability to design and conduct engineering experiments and act upon test results
+ Basic hardware troubleshooting ability including analog and RF components and circuits
+ Outlining new testing requirements and assets required to support the product
+ Can troubleshoot radios and boards to component level
+ Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience or graduate degree with Co-op experience
**Preferred Additional Skills:**
+ Prior manufacturing support a plus
+ Application of design considerations for volume manufacturing preferred
+ Knowledge of design simulation tools & LabVIEW
