The Boston team will be an important part of the global analytics engineering team. This team is responsible for ingesting, processing, storing, and analyzing cybersecurity data. In this role you will work with other developers, data engineers, and data scientists to continue the development of our flagship analytics product within AWS. This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced professionals within an innovative space. This position will require you to develop everything from prototype systems to fully mature test-driven production quality code. Responsibilities:Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques Provides resolution to an assortment of problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action Builds productive internal/external working relationships Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments; work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives Skills & Qualifications Must have:University degree or direct experience of an extra 3 years.2-4 years software development and/or testing experience Prior experience working in a commercial development environment: best practices for development, agile, schedules, processes, defect management, code management & continuous integration environments & formal quality practices Experience with multiple programming languages. Experience working with and testing data pipelines Experience testing data movement and storage solutions at-scale Innovative drive to investigate and assess new technologies with minimal learning curves An ability to work successfully across team and geographical boundaries to deliver joint initiatives Nice to have:Knowledge and development experience in AWS, Azure or other Public Cloud providers Experience automating Public Cloud deployments using both IaaS and PaaS capabilities Demonstrated experience developing and using RESTful API interfaces Cybersecurity knowledge or experienceExperience with Java with Selenium, TestNG or Spring, Etc.
