Just steps away from numerous historic sites, the Seaport District offers many parks, waterfront walking/running paths, amenities, dining options, and incredible views of Boston Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. The office is located a half-block from the Silver Line T train, and a 10-minute walk to South Station. This office is brand new and hosts a state-of the-art Global Executive Briefing Center. It is expected that executives will come from around the globe to meet first hand with the Industry s leading Behavioral Analytics Architects and Engineers in order to better understand how approaching security through a behavior-centric lens is the differentiator needed to prevent cyberattacks before they happen. The team at the Boston office will be an important part in this communication. Responsibilities Ensure data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including such areas as data sourcing/collection, ground truth generation, normalization, transformation, etc Clean, analyze and select data to achieve goals Build and release models that elevate the customer experience and track impact over time Collaborate with colleagues from science, engineering, and cybersecurity backgrounds Present proposals and results in a clear manner backed by data and coupled with actionable conclusions Work with engineers to develop efficient data analysis and modeling infrastructure Skills & Qualifications Must have: Bachelor s Degree with an emphasis in Data Science 2 years-experience with various data analysis and visualization tools Proficiency in Python and other programming / scripting languages Experience with various machine learning techniques and parameters that affect their performance An ability to work successfully across team and geographical boundaries to deliver joint initiatives Capable of executing on data acquisition, cleaning, and storage for individual initiatives Nice to have: Master s degree or PhD in relevant field Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns and of conducting error/deviation analysis Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, use of strong baselines, ability to accurately determine cause and effect relations Understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development and evaluation data sets, etc. The motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
