Electrical Production Execution Engineer / SWAT

The Production Execution / SWAT Engineer will work with teams to root cause issues on vehicles at all states of build. Identify issues, identify ownership of the issue, and drive issue to resolution. The candidate will have mastery knowledge of FCA vehicle systems and electrical tools, will work on early prototype builds to review process standards, functional objectives, fault matrixes, dealer service communication, and training to call teams on new vehicles and will also be responsible for training new employees in root cause skills.
Candidate will be responsible for the following: Lead electrical root cause and determination of issues during all pilot phases Lead early electrical work and prototype builds and root cause work Support EE Q team to drive issues to resolution Review, support, and run process standard reviews, as required, where they apply to in-plant testing Support warranty, dealerships, and production as needed Support and validated in-plant testing equipment Train and aid new team members with root causing vehicles Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university 1 year of automotive system and component experience Vehicle and vehicle system knowledge FCA Systems and process knowledge 1 year of direct launch experience on a major (new launch) program Knowledge and hands on use of CDA, CAN, CANalizer, Canoe, and other electrical root cause tools Experience using EEDP — Electrical Engineering Development Process Demonstrated proficiency in writing and comprehending software/hardware requirements Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management Self-starter and motivated to produce results Able to work on their own or with large team Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university Green Belt and Black Belt certified Extensive knowledge and hands on use of CDA, CAN, CANalizer, Canoe, and other electrical root cause tools Knowledge of Shainin Red X or other reactive quality tools* The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
