Job Description: NOTE: You must have a minimum of 3 years of HVAC Controls Engineering Experience to apply for this position.
As an Senior HVAC Controls Engineer for ENE Systems, you will be a key member of the Central Engineering team that engineers projects and creates the technical resources for the rest of the organization. ENE Systems has become a leader in Building Automation and IoT in New England with clients such as Harvard University, Wentworth Institute, and Children's Hospital Boston. At ENE Systems you will be designing HVAC Control Systems, Smoke Evacuation Systems, and Energy Management Systems.
Principal Duties: As a Senior HVAC Controls Engineer you will use Visio and AutoCAD to create 2D electrical control system schematics and network architecture diagrams. Your goal will be to design safe and efficient control systems for large commercial HVAC Systems with hundreds of programmable direct digital controllers (DDC).
The drawings you create will be used for guidance during control system installations and ongoing service of the installed systems. You will also providing engineering support and expertise for HVAC and control system issues.
1. Reports to the Director of Engineering. 2. Provides design function for maximum system reliability, safety, and construction. 3. Acts as liaison between company and engineering firms for coordination of project requirements. 4. Selects appropriate hardware to meet specifications. 5. Sizes valves. 6. Sizes dampers and actuators. 7. Sizes air flow stations and pressure sensing equipment. 8. Sizes transformers. 9. Manifests technical specifications to meet corporate standards and guidelines. 10. Conducts data collection and project reporting. Reviews and provides evaluation of new proposals. 11. Acts as a technical and engineering resource for O&M. Provides guidance and direction as necessary to implement design changes. 12. May assist with job layouts and bid proposals.

Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC Controls is required. BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
