For over 40 years, DiaSorin has been on a mission on five continents to develop, produce and commercialize diagnostic tests for a wide range of clinical areas. Our tests are designed for hospitals and private testing laboratories, in the markets of immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics.

We are on the market for a Microbiologist who thrives in an environment supporting bioburden testing and data analysis of finished components. Bring your attention to detail skills as you help plan, schedule and document various processes related to culture supplies. Your adaptability will help you succeed in managing shifting priorities throughout the work day while utilizing Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP s).

What will you do?
  • Performing routine environmental monitoring through testing and data analysis (air, surface, water, etc); Perform bioburden testing of finished components through testing and data analysis
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance and cleaning of laboratory glassware
  • Prepares media as needed, scheduling builds as needed.
  • Stocking and ordering supplies for lab; considered lab housekeeping
  • Consistently produce a high level of documentation accuracy and clarity according to cGMP documentation practices
  • Other special projects and duties at the discretion of immediate microbiologist or manager.
What will you bring?
  • BS/MS in Microbiology or a relevant field required
  • Basic knowledge of quality system regulations/requirements (FDA, EU, ICH, ISO, USP)
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques or biological testing (college courses are fine)
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical programs (i.e. MiniTab).
  • 0 to 2 years experience working as a Microbiologist in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical device, or cGMP regulated industry
