This position owns the execution of Quality Assurance operational goals and plans. May lead multiple teams responsible for Quality Assurance for a large organization. Sets direction and leads resources to ensure continuous quality improvement. Provides guidance across the organization in the implementation of plans and procedures that drive achievement of Quality goals.
Directs development of plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
Develops and leads implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
Drives quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
Directs collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs.
Directs production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.
Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures.
This position requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
