Aligning closely with the Global Center of Excellence, this person will manage a team of Sales Enablement leaders aligned to each industry and segment, and will act as the key business partner to the head of North America Sales. This VP, North America Sales Enablement will drive the execution of Onboarding, Training Programs and Learning Journeys to support our Sales teams, helping them accelerate time to bookings, supercharge bookings growth, and improve sales productivity. In strong collaboration with the Sales Leadership, Center of Excellence, and Talent Development teams, we deliver a best in class learning experience by:Understanding the key business requirements across different industries, segments, and geographies to determine impact and value add through Enablement ProgramsAligning the business needs to specific Enablement Programs from Onboarding to Learning Journeys as key driver for employee success, continuous learning and internal career growthDelivering high quality Enablement Programs to cover (i) sales operational excellence, tools and processes to increase performance, (ii) specific soft and business skills and (iii) product and industry knowledge to drive the development and business acumen of our Sales peopleIncreasing the focus on Leadership Enablement by driving alignment across the AMER region through the execution of a Sales Leader Success Program and sharing of best practices and thought leadership Key objectives for the Sales Enablement team in the region are:Reduce ramp up time for Account Executives and Sales ManagersIncrease Account Executive Productivity to achieve bookings goalsSupport all key pipeline initiatives through specific programs to achieve pipeline objectivesAchieve high quality standards and customer satisfaction scoresResponsibilities:Develop and implement the strategy for enablement programs and tools designed to improve Account Executive productivity and the efficiency of our Onboarding processLead and manage a high-performing team focused on the design, delivery, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the portfolio of enablement programs, reference materials, and distribution/delivery mechanisms across the globeMaintain portfolio of enablement programs including onboarding; playbooks, speaker training, and sales manager development, as well as associated toolsManage a blended learning model to include classroom, webinars, self-paced, and event-based training, leveraging conventional and new technologies (e.g., podcasts)Provide thought leadership in the domain of enablement methods and delivery systems to drive innovation, best practices, and a world-class operationEnsure team employs systematic and rigorous qualitative and quantitative analyses to determine and prioritize enablement needs, define the quantifiable relationship between training and desired outcomes; measure program effectivenessDefine engagement model to support Product Marketing and other content partners across Salesforce to develop and deliver required enablement assets and tools, including case studies, deal stories, selling guides, ROI tools, etc.Maintain a Learning Management System with curated content, self-service, and certification mechanisms, ensuring all content is most current and consistent with the single source of truth maintained by Product MarketingBe a subject matter expert in our sales/delivery process and methodologyEnsure team members have clarity of purpose, the tools required to meet their responsibilities, and an environment conducive to diversity of thought, innovation, and personal/career growthRequirements:15 years in enablement, sales or sales management, sales productivity. Account Executive experience a strong plusBachelor's Degree required; Masters Degree or degree in Instructional Design a plusStrong executive presence, communication and influence skillsStrong collaboration and problem solving skillsComfortable presenting in front of large groupsProven track record of producing and hosting educational events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs.Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands; a high sense of urgencyDemonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teamsExperience working with Learning Management Systems and other related systems and processesProven ability to lead and develop high performance teamsAbility to conduct analyses, translate results to digestible communications including messages and presentationsLight to moderate travelAccessibility - If you require accessibility assistance applying for open positions please contact the Salesforce.com Recruiting Department.Posting StatementSalesforce.com and Salesforce.org are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
