From initial site characterization through remediation, CHA draws on the expertise of staff team members that possess considerable environmental site assessment and remediation experience. We have been providing environmental consulting services in excess of 25 years, and we employ a team of approximately 100 scientists and engineers who keep abreast of current regulatory issues.

    CHA Consulting, Inc. is actively seeking Entry Level Environmental Engineers to join our growing organiation at various office locations accross North American and Canada!

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct phase I environmental site assessments.
  • Perform environmental compliance reviews and inspections.
  • Assist with Hazardous Building Materials Screenings and Assessments.
  • Completion of indoor air quality and mold assessments.
  • Collection of soil, wastewater and groundwater samples.
  • Oversee installation of soil boring and monitoring wells.
  • Operation, maintenance and monitoring of remedial systems.
  • Additional duties will involve participation in the preparation of sampling and analysis plans, interpreting and reporting sampling data, field investigation reports, and data management, compilation, manipulation, and evaluation.
  • EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering required.
  • Fundamentals in Engineering (F.E.) is preferred.
  • SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • No priorEngineering experience required; however, applicable coursework or internship/cooperative learningexperience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel is required.
  • Must have the ability to work in the field in different weather conditions.
  • Must be able to physically navigate in the field.
