World leader of complete packaging solutions are provided for parenteral drugs, ophthalmic, animal health products, vitamins, and nutritional supplements. Products include vial, capsule, syringe, and powder filling; isolation technology, and cartoning.

Seeking Controls Technician r esponsible for the installation, testing, analyzing, maintaining, repairing and training of packaging equipment and associated products at customer sites, with primary emphasis on supporting various control platforms, specifically with isolation and containment technology. Primary focus is to provide customers with excellent technical customer service and ensure complete satisfaction.

  • Knowledge in isolator and containment processes (including HVAC Systems), data interpretation, air balancing, air measurements and documentation, system behavior and analyses.
  • Support Field Service Technician during startup, troubleshooting, service activities
  • Performs Software updates and modifications to machine control software at customer sites.
  • Provide service, qualification, validation, calibration and training support on current isolators and containment systems located at customer sites in North America.
  • Support all aspects of operating controls systems, equipment and machinery.
  • Provide support to customers, Customer Service and Sales, as required.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment, fully gowned. Work in tight quarters; on top and underneath equipment standing, stooping, kneeling and bending continuously (approx. 66% of the time).
  • Maintain proficiency in control software (e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other controls platforms) and machinery equipped with PLC’s through vendor training and interaction with engineering personnel.


Job Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of isolator and containment processes
  • Education in electronic controls systems, software, hardware, I/O´s and safety devices
  • Must possess a Bachelor degree in an Engineering field
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the packaging industry, designing, installing and troubleshooting PLC and motion control software and hardware.
  • Must possess a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance of capital equipment or electronics, such as, servo drives, HMI and programmable controllers.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Maintain a flexible schedule allowing for travel on short notice. Travel extensively in North America as well as worldwide, when needed. Approximately 80% travel required.
  • Submit to safety, background, and drug/alcohol testing as required by customer(s).
