KellyOCG is currently seeking a 2nd ShiftQuality Control Line Technician to provide support in the production of quality contact lenses with a top Medical Device company located in Jacksonville, FL.HOURS Monday 1:15 PM – midnight; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3:15 PM – 2 AM; training will be held on day shift for approximately 2-4 weeks. JOB SUMMARY Performs a specialized set of tasks as part of a team to include, but not limited to, visual inspection, hydration, lens loading, packaging audit process, Haynes Machine, sterilization and over-labeling of contact lenses according to protocols and GMP. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Control-Responsible for all of the following tasks; Visual Inspection/Hydration/Haynes Machine Packaging and Sterilization of contact lenses
  • Maintains lot integrity and control to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO and company requirements
  • Solution Preparation and Solution testing
  • Operates and monitors sterilization unit, completing appropriate documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum High School Degree or equivalent. Preferred Associate Degree.
  • Minimum experience: 2+ years Quality Control experience in a regulated environment (GMP)
  • Strong communication, organizational and application of principles, concepts and practices of protocol execution.
