Chief Medical Office

We have a great opportunity for a Chief Medical Officer in Franklin, TN with a growing health care company that brings leading-edge solutions to high-risk populations across the country. With their analytics-based innovations they can provide the care they need to live healthier lives.

The Chief Medical Officeris a key member of the national clinical operations team, engaged in ensuring clinical excellence across the company.

Position Requirements:
  • A current unrestricted license to practice medicine.
  • Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in his/her respective specialty.
  • Knowledge of managed healthcare systems, medical quality assurance, quality improvement and risk management.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with proven ability to communicate a vision and drive results
  • Demonstrated management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and execute on initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively internally and externally.
  • Self-assured and results oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business needs, design and implement programs and evaluate results.
  • Health plan, Medicare and ISNP experience, including product development.
  • Experience with Model of Care and Care Management requirements, risk adjustment and HEDIS experience.
  • Executive level interpersonal, management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks on time in a fast-changing environment
  • Solution-oriented self-starter with a solid ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work interactively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate and generate results
  • Working knowledge of computers and ability to document effectively and efficiently in an electronic system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other Microsoft Office products
