The Flight Control Lawand Handling Qualities Engineer position is offered at either Bell s maincampus in Fort Worth, Texas or the Shelton, Connecticut office. For thoseworking in the Fort Worth area, relocation is available. For thoseworking in the Connecticut area, Bell s Shelton office allows candidates towork remotely on the same diverse range of exciting programs without having torelocate. Travel to the main campus in Fort Worth for coordinationmeetings, testing, and other on-site activities can be expected. Foreither location, travel to various suppliers may be expected depending on theassignment. PositionResponsibilities: Bell has multipleopenings for the Flight Control Law and Handling Qualities Engineer position.We are developing new concepts of vertical lift which will help transform theway people fly. In this new and exciting field of vertical lift featuringmanned, optionally manned, and unmanned vehicles, the Flight Control Law andHandling Qualities Engineer will be responsible for: Control Law design anddevelopment Qualifications Bachelor s Degree is required. Major in Aerospace Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering ispreferred. Other degrees with applicable experience will beconsidered. Master s Degree in Engineering is preferred. 9+ years in the aerospace industry, particularly rotorcraft,is preferred. Other industry experience will be considered. Must be a proven self-starter requiring minimal supervision, withexcellent written and oral communication skills, and PC skills.
