Description

The Manufacturing Engineer supports the day to day manufacturing operations for media, surface treatment processes in a Continuous Improvement environment.

  • Supports the strategic implementation of manufacturing processes within the organization for both new products and technology transfers
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of products and technologies within Pall s manufacturing operations in conformance with established programs and objectives
  • Uses quality processes to drive improvement to meet key business objectives for Quality, Supply, Customer Satisfaction, Growth, and Productivity
  • Use statistical process control and visual factory systems for responsible areas
  • Leads projects related to continuous improvements and validation of manufacturing processes resulting in improved product quality, productivity, and yields
  • Technical leader for Intercompany media including ownership of all related manufacturing processes
  • Performs risk assessments and engineering analyses to support implementation of proceed improvements and changes
  • Leads root cause investigations using structured problem solving techniques
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales & Marketing groups in team based environment to drive company s strategic initiatives for new products and technology transfer
  • Knowledge in handling universal, hazardous and non-hazardous waste (if applicable)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
