    This position is based in our headquarters in Boise, Idaho.     What we expect of a Project Manager:

    Project Execution Responsibilities

    The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of projects from planning through final completion. This includes managing team communication, determining project resourcing needs, assigning project tasks to Project Engineers and BIM Modelers, controlling and executing the project plan, ensuring safe and code compliant design, performing quality control, and following the Axiom Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality work outputs.

    Project Financial Responsibilities

    The project financial responsibilities of the Project Manager include generating accurate estimates of project fees, managing project activities to budget, and recognizing and preventing scope creep.

    Marketing and Client Management Responsibilities

    Project Managers are expected to assist in building client relationships and assuring that each project fulfills project goals, client expectations, and Axiom's Brand Promise.

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required
  • 3 minimum of full-time work experience required
  • P.E. license or eligible to take PE exam within 1 year
  • Experience in mid-sized structural projects ($5M - $50M).
  • Core strength in at least one material and market type
  • Experience in fast-paced work environment that requires multitasking
  • Working independently within a broader team
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters in Civil Engineering preferred (with a structural emphasis)
  • Experience in steel building design in industrial or healthcare markets
