SCCM Endpoint Engineer / Tier 3 PC Technician

What You Will Do: Provide SCCM Endpoint Engineering Support and Tier 3 Service Desk Support as a key technical team member. Coordinate with members of the larger IT support team on cross-functional projects and deliverables. Facilitate development and management of technical roadmaps and project plans for the team. Collaboratively manage workflows and processes within the Endpoint Engineering team to optimize efficiency while maintaining security standards and service quality. Collaboratively manage desktop , laptop, tablet, VMs, or other endpoint systems and devices and make recommendations for future upgrades. Collaboratively manage image and patch deployment using centralized enterprise desktop management systems including SCCM. Install, configure and troubleshoot software packages, including operating systems and commercial software. Monitor systems to ensure security, availability and performance with proficiency in the ePO environment. Use excellent customer service skills to build service-based relationships with IT customers. Act as primary escalation point and Tier 3 support within PC Service Desk Support team. Evaluate tickets for ongoing performance improvement opportunities and reduction of endpoint incidents. Ensure documentation is complete for tickets and projects
Required Skills: 5+ years providing desktop computing support in a complex environment Expert knowledge of electronic software distribution and configuration tools must include SCCM Experience using McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) for endpoint management required Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant discipline (information systems, computer science, or engineering, etc.). Additional years of relevant technical experience may substitute for a degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to obtain a federal Public Trust Clearance
Desired Skills: Experience using scripting to automate PC management in an enterprise IT support environment Current certifications relevant to the field ITIL v3 Foundation certification and experience in an ITIL-driven environment Experience providing technical support within a scientific / medical research organization
