Our Automation Solutions division has an opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing Montoursville, PA, team. This position would be responsible for the estimation, design, and commissioning of high quality electrical and instrumentation installation designs for our North American customers.

Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical system upgrades.
  • Design and commission electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including P&ID drawings, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems.
  • Design and configure PLC/HMI applications.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Design and commission industrial MV and LV electrical power systems, including electrical room design, equipment specifications, motor control and grounding systems, and cable and raceway sizing and layouts.
  • Complete electrical and instrumentation system design.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation.
